This Privacy Policy explains how King of Tails Mobile Grooming ("King of Tails," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you call us, text us, book with us, or visit kingoftails.com. King of Tails is a mobile dog grooming business based in Katy, Texas, owned and operated by Katherine Hernandez.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address, and your address or neighborhood so we know where the van is headed.
• Pet details: your dog's name, breed, weight, grooming and handling history, health notes, and any photos you send us.
• Phone calls: calls may be answered by Rexo, our automated AI phone assistant. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and a short summary is created so Katherine can follow up accurately.
• Text messages: your mobile number, the messages and photos you send us, and whether you've opted in to or out of texts.
• Booking information: anything you enter into our online booking form.
• Website: our site has no accounts or sign-ups. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type.

How we use it

• To answer your questions, prepare your quote, and schedule your groom
• To send the texts you agreed to, such as your booking link, appointment follow-ups, and, if you asked, a heads-up when openings come up
• To plan a safe, comfortable groom for your dog
• To keep records of our work and meet our legal obligations

Text messaging (SMS)

We only text you if you've agreed to it by saying yes on a call with us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. See the SMS Terms in our Terms & Conditions for details.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are used only to send you the messages you asked for. They are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Who helps us run things

We're a small business, so we rely on a few trusted service providers: our phone and texting provider, our AI phone-answering service, our online booking software, our email, calendar, and document tools, and our website host. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We don't sell your personal information to anyone.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or pets.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're a client, or for as long as we reasonably need it to serve you and keep business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below).

Your choices

• Stop texts: reply STOP to any message from us.
• See, correct, or delete your information: email kingoftailspetmobile@gmail.com or call (713) 305-9068, and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our services are for adult pet owners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
